- 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" piece of patterned paper (this will be the top of the box)
- 11" x 11" piece of patterned paper (the bottom of the box)
- 2" x 11" piece of card stock (scored at 1-1/4", 3-5/16", 7-1/2", and 9-5/8"
- 2 pieces of ribbon cut to approx. 12"

An new word: staycation! We've done this for the past 2yrs, so what's new! heee...

we live in a dented solar system!
That really made me laughs. I imagine a dented basket ball that's missing some air and we live in it. Ok doesn't sound that funny but found the article pretty interesting:
"When viewed from the rest of the galaxy, the edge of our solar system appears slightly dented as if a giant hand is pushing one edge of it inward, far-travelling NASA probes reveal. "

The idea that it was round now needs to change:
"Astronomers said they will have to change their models for what the solar system looks like."

Wow! 31yrs to reach almost the end of our solar system! I still to have a few yrs to go to completely exit. Amazing, it blows my mind! :)

BFG posed a question of why we haven't had any contact with other beings. Well, my answer is that I, if I was them, wouldn't want to know the human race. We are to evil, yes we can be kind but it’s a scary feeling that one person can harm many. Throughout history there has been good and bad but the bad always seems to be more of an interest. Specially, with capitalism and killing our planet. Now we are looking into Mars to see if in the future it will sustain life as we are depleting all our sources here in this planet. Literally, we are killing it! Too many people, too much rabidness for power!

What will the next generation do? Have they learnt to be friendlier to the planet or do they just don't care?

Finally updated my blog.. Woke to noise outside my window... 10:15 is when I opened my cell to check for the time.. Weird no alarm clock in our room...

Vacuum the floors and put the dishes in the dishwasher... Began to update my pretty notebook for my personal stuff... Realising that man I use a lot of white out! Decided to update the blog which had begun to have cob webs! hee... I updated my flickr pictures.. Need to still update Carly and Mitsuru's blog and all things cutzie!

I been thinking of how some people really do inspire me that I can be comfortable in my own skin. I like myself but would want to love myself more. There's people out there that have struggled and accomplished their dreams and some that never realize it!

fad up with blogger.. damn, thing I'm going to move it. I don't have to have it there apprently I can use wordpress... been looking at some tutorials and peeps who've done the transfer: underscorebleach.net

Well woke up around 7:58am.. Needed to clean a bit as a building inspector was coming around 10am... we got into fight about stupid things once again... Was making lunch when the inspector came. Lunch was hot dogs, fries, salad, zucchini, cauliflower and lychee soda... I ate 1/2 my hot dog, wasn't that hungry. Plus, ate all my veggies...

BFG went to work, he has the 12-12, no problem I guess I will be updating my blogs that I haven't been done for a while.

As I sit here I hear something outside of the balcony and voila I see a person cleaning the outside of the rails in the balcony. I wonder if they're going to change it. we weren't told about this. He too up a ladder and came up the balcony that way as there is no other way to do it beside knocking on the door. I wonder what he's doing out there. It smells like shoe polish, wonder if that is toxic... Hope the kitties aren't smelling this, or else they will be high!

Mamoru Oshii appoints Ayaka [絢香] for "Sky Crawlers" theme song
"Mamoru Oshii's latest animated film, "The Sky Crawlers," now has an official theme song in the form of "Konya mo Hoshi ni Dakarete [今夜も星に抱かれて]," a new ballad by young singer Ayaka.

The song was initially planned to be used as an image song that would appear in the movie's trailer, but after listening to the finished work, Oshii felt it matched the film so well that he decided to use it during the ending credits as the theme song. The director is known for avoiding the use of existing music in his works, but he made a rare exception this time, even going as far as redoing the credits to better incorporate the song.

"The Sky Crawlers" is also unusual for Oshii due to its choice of voice cast. He normally uses professional seiyus, but in April it was revealed that Rinko Kikuchi, Ryo Kase, Chiaki Kuriyama, and Shosuke Tanihara are lending their voices to the film.

"Konya mo Hoshi ni Dakarete" is the final track on Ayaka's sophomore album, "Sing to the Sky," which goes on sale June 25. "The Sky Crawlers" will hit theaters more than a month later on August 2."

Just called BFG and told him that he has to pick up the food! J I am starving! Been spending the afternoon at restomtl giving my feedback on restos. I couldn’t believe they don’t have a few restos I’ve gone too. I of course suggested them! I wish they sold Kobe beef here but the best thing to it is Alberta beef which can be purchased from Le Bifthèque. I called to make sure that’s where they still get it, cuz you never know they might change it to the US or QC. The site is great for the specials and to get the information for menu, etc....

Woke up to the sound of rain... My body feeling heavy from going to bed so late... I immediately got my pc and headed to the living room... Fed the kitties! Ended up spending my time in the kitchen cleaning and loading the dish washer... Made some さくら茶 [SAKURACHA]... Flowers always remind me of spring in Japan! J

Ended up taking pictures of the tea and the flowers that budded in the hot water... The rain is pouring out... Loaded some 2004 pictures from Cali! Had to take a few pictures of the rainy day! Such a May Day! Then got my CD that I burned yesterday night, before going to bed, and loaded the music up to my pc and onto iTunes... Seems some of the music bought on BFG’s pc doesn’t work on mine so I have to transfer it to CD then upload, what a crazy dumb ass way of buying but not being able to use it but on one machine... Rant.... here! Kitties are still demanding food! They eat and then want more WTF, which they throw-up because they have over indulged... goodness...

Listening to music... Need to fix it properly and uploaded to my iPod... Ended up on last.fm and read JenJen’s post she left me... Suddenly, I felt like eating Indonesian food from Nonya. We have only one in the whole island! The people are so sweet! I ordered and paid w/ cc... BFG will pick up for 6pm. Dinner is ready... heee... Ordered TEMPEH!!! Haven’t had it for quite a while. You can say that my palette is truly multi cultural... I can eat from almost anywhere in the world. I love it and will always be that way. Hopefully, if I would have children or adopt I would raise truly international/multicultural food gurus... Heee!

Had a light intake of food [banana, ocha, ice cream sandwich] cuz I’m waiting for the YUMMY food for tonight! BFG will be sorta surprised... Haven’t told him, will call him when he’s off! Hee... SURPRISE BABY!

Listening to music make me happy... Working is fun and keeps me active... Playing with my Wii keeps me fit... Jung Da Bin - 정다빈 / Jung Da-bin (Jeong Da-bin) - committed suicide, a month after U;Nee and in the same manner [hanging], in her boyfriend's apartment... no note was left but left a blog post before her suicide... may have been due to bouts of depression, career going down, criticism over her plastic surgeries and mother's uterine cancer...
